The Darien Lions Club has been involved with the blood drive for more than 35 years. They say you can help four lives by giving a pint of blood.
The blood you give will help six surrounding hospitals. You can give blood if you are 17 years old or older. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and have a valid ID. You will receive a free blood test. 16 year olds can give blood with the permission of their parents.
