Darien Man Arrested In DUI Crash: Cops
In another case, a Darien woman was charged with retail theft, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- Police responded to a crash with injuries shortly before midnight Sunday in the 7100 block of Beechnut Lane. Arrested was a 28-year-old Darien man who lives in the 1000 block of Belair Drive. He was charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Retail theft

- A 21-year-old Darien woman who lives in the 7500 block of Adams Street was arrested about 5 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a retail theft charge. A court date is pending.
Resisting, battery
- About 1 a.m. Thursday, Darien police responded to an alert from another agency for a fleeing car. An officer found a suspect, a 34-year-old woman, at the Extended Stay America hotel, 2345 Sokol Court. She was charged with resisting arrest and battery. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
