Darien Neighbor Clash Results In Charges: Cops
Officers responded to a fight between neighbors on a recent afternoon, police said.

DARIEN, IL – In the last few days, Darien police handled cases involving a neighbor fight, retail theft, a DUI and obstruction of identification. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:
Neighbor fight
- A 22-year-old Darien man who lives in the 3400 block of Brewer Drive was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Friday on charges of battery, criminal damage to property, assault and disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a fight between neighbors outside a house in the 8300 block of Cramer Lane, which is next to Brewer. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.
Retail theft

- A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both of Chicago, were arrested about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on retail theft charges. Police said video footage showed the pair failing to scan several items at the self-checkout counter. They were released and given a date to appear in court.
DUI
- A 51-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured car. The man was swerving on Interstate 55 and exited onto Cass Avenue, driving on the opposite side of the street, police said. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A 43-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Monday on charges of obstructing identification, driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured car. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.
