Darien Police Investigate Two Home Burglaries
Jewelry, money, cell phones and electronics were reported stolen in the Feb. 9 burglaries.

Darien, IL - Darien police are investigating two Feb. 9 home burglaries.
A door was forced open at a home in the 6700 block of Clarendon Hills Road between 7:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m., according to Darien police.
No one was in the home at the time of the burglary. Several cell phones, jewelry and electronics were reported stolen.

A burglary was also reported in the 300 block of Janet, where a door was forced open between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. while no one was home. A watch and money were reported stolen, according to police.
Residents are asked to call 911 to report any suspicious people or cars. Police are asking residents to talk to their neighbors.

Police also advise people to lock doors and windows before leaving home and to leave lights on after dark.
