Hinsdale Police Reports: Car Burglaries, DUI, Fraud
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Feb. 2.

Someone entered a car Jan. 26 in the 600 block of S. Bodin Street and stole a laptop valued at $500 and items that were for a fundraising event (a signed hockey jersey valued at $500 and two gift cards with a total value of $250). There were no signs of forced entry to the car and it was parked in the owner’s driveway during the time of the burglary.
Someone entered a car Jan. 26 in the 600 block of S Monroe Street and stole approximately $20. There were no signs of forced entry to the car that was parked in the owner’s driveway.

A company van was taken between Jan. 25 and 26 from a driveway in the 400 block of N Adams. The van wasn’t locked and the keys were left inside it. The van is a 2007 white Chevy Uplander van.
Someone used a woman’s credit card Jan. 21 to purchase two airline tickets valued at $763 each.

Mary C Ryan, 27 of the 800 block of Joyce Court in Wheaton, was found parked in a travel lane Jan. 29 at a three-way stop intersection at Garfield and Chicago avenues. She was seen to be under the influence of alcohol, and she refused testing to determine blood alcohol level. She was charged with improper parking and DUI and released to appear in court.
Gligorce Majstoroski, 32 of the 5500 block of S Madison Street in Hinsdale, was stopped Jan. 30 after police received a report of an intoxicated driver. Majstoroski submitted to testing that showed he was over the legal limit, and he was charged with DUI, DUI over 0.08 and no driver’s license, and he was released to appear in court.
Someone entered a car Jan. 31 at 9th and Madison Street and stole a wallet and sunglasses. There were no signs of forced entry to the car. The sunglasses valued at $150 and the wallet contained debit cards, gift cards and $8 cash.
Someone entered a car between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and stole two sets of golf clubs and two bowling balls. The golf sets was valued at $140 each and the bowling balls were valued at $75 each. The car was unlocked and parked in a driveway in the 400 block of Mills Street.
Someone entered an unlocked car between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 while it was parked in a driveway in the 800 block of S Jackson Street. About $5 to $10 in change was reported stolen.
