Hinsdale Police Reports: Four DUIs, Theft, Car Burglary
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Dec. 1.

Ramon Chavez, 40 of the 5600 block of Clarendon Hills Road, Clarendon Hills, was stopped Nov. 29 at 3:33 a.m. for improper lane use at 55th and Monroe streets, according to Hinsdale police. He was arrested and charged with drunken driving, DUI over 0.08 and improper lane use. He was released to appear in court.
Janet Lopez, 38 of the 4400 block of Prescott Avenue in Lyons, was stopped Nov. 29 at 1:30 a.m. for speeding and improper lane use at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue, according to Hinsdale police. She was arrested and charged with drunken driving, DUI over 0.08, speeding, improper lane use and failure to signal lane change. She was released to appear in court.

Kwame Lamont Weathers, 43 of the 1400 block of South Canal in Chicago, was stopped Nov. 28 at 3:33 a.m. for speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, according to Hinsdale police. Weathers was driving with a suspended license and was seen to be under the influence of alcohol. Weathers was charged with drunken driving, DUI over 0.08, speeding, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, expired registration, uninsured vehicle and driving while license suspended, police reported. Weathers was released to appear in court.
Jadvyga Saulys, 21 of the 400 block of Devon Drive in Burr Ridge, was stopped Nov. 25 at 2 a.m. for speeding at 55th and Grant streets, according to Hinsdale police. He was arrested and charged with drunken driving, DUI over 0.08 and speeding. He was released to appear in court.

Someone walked out of a store in the 100 block of South Washington on Nov. 24 with eyeglasses valued at $445, according to Hinsdale police. The thief is described as a white man in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches, heavy set with brown hair, wearing a black puffy jacket and black sweatpants.
A Hinsdale Central High School student reported Nov. 23 her ex-boyfriend sent her messages of a harassing nature and made threatening comments at school, according to Hinsdale police.
Someone entered a parked car between Nov. 29 and 30 in an attached garage in the 100 block of East 9th Street, according to Hinsdale police. About $300 and an iPhone was stolen from a purse in the back seat. There were no signs of forced entry to the garage or car.
