Hinsdale Police Reports: Harassment, Property Damage, Identity Theft

Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through March 1.

Someone used a victim’s identity to purchase merchandise and services between Feb. 2 and 22. The fraudulent charges totaled $8,178.85.

A known suspect made phone calls of a harassing nature Feb. 27 to Hinsdale Hospital staff.

Someone reported his car had been scratched Feb. 25 while it was parked at Gateway Square on N. York Road. The scratches appeared to have been made with a key along both sides of the car.

Someone used a victim’s identity Feb. 26 to open a line of credit. The victim received notice from a debt collector regarding an outstanding debt of $471.12.
