Hinsdale Police Reports: Retail Theft, Credit Card Theft, Fraud,
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Feb. 9.

Hinsdale, IL - Someone reported receiving a threatening phone call Feb. 2 from a known suspect.
Two jerseys valued at $39.95 each were reported stolen from a business Feb. 2 in the 700 block of York Road. Store employees reported two teenage boys came into their store and placed three basketball jerseys valued at $49.95/each and a T-shirt valued at $17.95 into their bag without paying for them. An employee confronted the boys in the store and recovered the items from their bag. After the boys left the store, an employee discovered two jerseys were missing. The suspects were described as white males, about 17 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall with brown hair, and they were seen getting into a red medium sized SUV.

Someone reported that a known suspect took her car without permission Jan. 1 in the 500 Block Highland Road.
Someone claiming to be the victim’s nephew called Feb. 8 requesting bond money. The victim bought $2,000 in gift cards and gave the information from the cards to the suspect.
