Hinsdale Police Reports: Underage Drinking, Identity Theft

Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through May 10.

Someone used a victim’s information between Feb. 20 and March 10 to file a fraudulent tax return.

Someone used a victim’s information April 16 to file a fraudulent tax return.

Someone reported a known person made comments of a threatening nature March 16 on an audio recording.

Two teenage girls were seen at 12:38 a.m. May 7 trying to hide from police behind bushes at Woodland Avenue and Cleveland Road. The girls seemed to be under the influence of alcohol. They submitted to testing that showed they drank alcohol. The 18 year old of Willow Springs and the 17 year old of Burr Ridge were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by person under 21 and released parents.
