Hinsdale Police Reports: Underage Drinking, Underage Smoking, Burglary
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Oct. 20.

Someone entered a landscape company’s trailer Oct. 15 in the 500 block of West 9th Street and stole landscaping equipment valued at $550, according to Hinsdale police.
Police were dispatched for a report of an intoxicated person Oct. 16 in Walgreens, 15 Grant Square, according to Hinsdale police. Paul L Lamoureaux, 23 of the 600 block of South Bodin Street, Hinsdale, was was in possession of a white powdery substance that field tested positive for cocaine. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Someone reported clothing, jewelry, $5,000 cash, laptop and a house key missing Oct. 15 from her home in the 800 Block McKinley Lane, according to Hinsdale police. There were no signs of forced entry.
Someone damaged a Hinsdale Hospital employee’s cell phone Oct. 18 when it was left unattended, according to Hinsdale police.

Police were dispatched Oct. 16 to a report of a possible underage drinking party in the 10 block of Ulm Place. A 16-year-old female juvenile was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, according to Hinsdale police. She was charged with underage drinking and allowing people to gather and consume alcohol, and she was released to family.
A 14-year-old male juvenile was seen Oct. 15 smoking a cigarette outside a door at Hinsdale Central High School, according to Hinsdale police. He was issued a local ordinance citation and released to a parent.
Someone entered an unlocked car Oct. 3 and stole his wallet in Robbins Park, according to Hinsdale police. The burglar tried to cash a check using the victim’s identification.
Someone used the victim’s identity to file a fraudulent tax return between Jan. 1 and Oct. 14, according to Hinsdale police.
