A New Face Joins Leadership of DuPage Children's Museum
Susan Stellmacher will be director of development at the museum.
Susan Stellmacher is coming home to Naperville. The Naperville North High School graduate will be the new director of development at the DuPage Children’s Museum, according to president and CEO Sarah Orleans.
“I can’t think of a better place that aligns my personal and professional values,” Stellmacher said. “This will be a rewarding continuation of the career successes I have experienced to date and have great plans for continuing the mission of the museum.”
She brings more than 10 years of nonprofit experience to the museum. Her credentials include degrees from Lawrence University (BA) and North Central College (MLD). Susan most recently was director of major and planned giving for Lawrence University, where she increased membership in their planned giving society by 23 percent in just over two years.
