'Nothing Bundt Cakes' Opens New Location at Darien Pointe Plaza
Satisfy your sweet tooth this holiday season.
There’s always room for dessert.
Darien Pointe Plaza, one of the newest additions to the city’s shopping scene, has a new tenant: Nothing Bundt Cakes.
The cake shop is opening at the Cass and Plainfield location soon, the City of Darien announced, and will be one of many new stores the franchise is opening across the country. Dozens already exist.

The bakery sells exactly what its name suggests — bundt cakes, as well as smaller versions of the delicacies they call “bundtlets.” If a single serving is still too big, try a bite-sized “bundtini.” Cakes come in nine flavors, plus a seasonal pumpkin spice: red velvet, chocolate-chocolate chip, lemon, marble, pecan praline, carrot, white-white chocolate, cinnamon swirl and white chocolate raspberry.
Nothing Bundt Cakes will be joining several other chains opening in the Plaza, including Starbucks and Sprint, which are already open for business. Pro-Nails and Lady Jane’s Haircuts are also planning to open soon.
