Patch Picks: Super Bowl Crawl
Our picks for where to watch the Super Bowl in and around Darien.

We're just a few days from the big game, and though it isn't quite a big of game for locals as it could have been (sorry, Bears fans), the Super Bowl is still a can't miss event.
Patch rounded up these places in Darien and Willowbrook that offer good deals, good companionship and, in some cases, great prizes.

A Darien favorite for big events, Cornerstone on Cass Avenue will offer a free halftime buffet during Sunday’s game. Though the menu is yet to be finalized, you can expect it will be packed with game-day favorites.
The bar will also feature $2 domestic drafts and $10 buckets of domestic bottled beer, making it a prime location for group outings. With 10 TVs, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

If one free half-time buffet isn’t enough to fill you up, Q Billiards on Cass Avenue will also present a gratis spread Sunday, just a hop across the parking lot from Cornerstone.
Q Billiards offers a wide variety of game-day drink specials, including $2 Miller bottles, $3.50 domestic drafts in 24 ounce mugs, $6 Absolut Peppar bloody marys and $5 Jameson shots.
And since the buffet doesn’t start until halftime, the bar will also be serving 10 wings for $5.
The bar has 16 regular TVs, six small TVs and two large screens, making it a great viewing spot for social butterflies who like to meander during the game without compromising their view.

Self-proclaimed “host with the most” Josh Fredrick promised Patch that the T.G.I. Fridays on 75thStreet is the most fun place in Darien to watch football games.
“Everyone always has a blast,” Fredrick said, thanks to Friday’s great deals and energetic staff.
The restaurant and bar are offering loads of drink specials, including $4 Coors Light pints, $3 Michelob Ultras, $4 glasses of merlot, $5 blackberry margaritas and $6 premium margaritas.
Fridays will also feature half-price appetizers from 4-7 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. And don’t worry about getting a good view of the game—Fridays has 12 TVs.
This authentic Irish pub in Willowbrook, run by the owners of Tommy Nevin's, will feature a free halftime buffet that spotlights all your favorite tailgate foods. Bud and Bud Light drafts or bottles will only set you back $2.50, while Bloody Mary's will go for $4.
Buffalo Wild Wings always draws a crowd on game day, but for Super Bowl Sunday, they're letting guests plan ahead. Call for reservations to make sure you and your pals don't miss out on any of the action.
With more than 40 TVs, including five big screen projection screens, Buffalo Wild Wings has your game viewing covered from every angle. Coors Light pints will go for $3.70.
Super fans can win prizes for dressing up in their teams gear. Guests can also spin a prize wheel for giveaways such as gift cards, hats and, best of all, free wings for a year.
