Six Candidates File for District 86 School Board

Two incumbents seek re-election, according to the filings.

Six people have filed petitions to run for the three open seats on the District 86 School Board, said Meredith Allsop, executive assistant to Superintendent Nicholas Wahl. The deadline for filing a petition to run in the April 5 consolidated election was Monday at 5 p.m.

Vice President Michael Kuhn and board member Vinaya Sharma, both Hinsdale residents, are seeking re-election, according to the filings.

Also petitioning for a spot on the ballot are Jennifer Planson, of Willowbrook, Bruce Davidson, of Hinsdale, Richard Skoda, of Hinsdale, and Claudia Manley, of Darien, Allsop said.

The candidates are running for four-year terms. District 86 includes and High Schools.
