Truck Crashes into Fruitful Yield Store in Darien
No one was injured in the crash, which occurred late Wednesday morning in Market Place Plaza on 75th Street, police said.
No one was injured Wednesday when the driver of a pickup truck accidentally backed into a Darien storefront, police said.
Darien Deputy Police Chief John Cooper said the truck crashed into Fruitful Yield Health Foods, 2159 75th St., late Wednesday morning after the driver's foot became stuck on the accelerator. The man was not believed to have been driving under the influence.
No injuries were reported, and the incident is still under investigation, Cooper said.

Fruitful Yield was forced to close Wednesday due to the extensive damage to the front of the store. Witnesses said that the neighboring Jenny Craig window also sustained considerable damage.
Calls to Fruitful Yield were not immediately returned.
