The show is part of the 2026 Devon season package, and prices range from $35 lawn seats to $70 pit and reserved options, plus fees.

Decatur's Good Samaritan Inn asking for donations to keep doors open (wcia.com) — A Decatur soup kitchen that serves about 200 people a day is urgently seeking $410,000 in donations by June 30 to keep operating. Good Samaritan Inn says rising demand and higher costs threaten its ability to provide daily hot meals and a warm place to stay, and leaders are asking residents to give by check or online.

Decatur City Council approves $50k for new police surveillance cameras (wandtv.com) — Decatur City Council has approved $50,000 for 10 new Flock surveillance cameras that provide live video, expanding beyond existing license plate readers. Police say the solar-powered cameras will store images for 30 days, aid investigations, and be placed in higher-crime areas while keeping access limited to law enforcement partners.

Mississippi man caught with more than 1 pound of marijuana in Decatur traffic stop (wcia.com) — A Mississippi man is facing felony cannabis charges after an Illinois State Trooper reported finding over a pound of marijuana and $10,000 in cash during a Dec. 9 traffic stop on Interstate 72 in Decatur. The driver, whose license was suspended in Illinois, was granted pretrial release and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 31 in Macon County.

5. ‘I've averaged about four hours of sleep': Snow plow drivers working tirelessly to keep roads clear in Central IL (wcia.com) — Snowplow crews in Urbana and other Central Illinois cities, including Decatur, have been running 24-hour shifts to clear heavy snowfall and lingering ice. Workers describe long hours, equipment challenges in extreme cold, and a focus on keeping main and residential routes safe while asking drivers to give plows extra space on the roads.
