10 Days Of Dining Deals During Lake County Restaurant Week

There are special offers, discounts and prix fixe menus at 68 north suburban restaurants during the fourth annual "10 Days To Savor" event.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The fourth annual Lake County Restaurant Week begins Friday and runs through March 10. Nearly 70 restaurants are taking part this year, offering up different discounted dining offers, prix fixe menus or other special for the event, according to the Lake County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

The event is aimed at promoting local restaurants while encouraging foodies to explore the county's culinary offerings, find new offerings and enjoy longtime favorites.

"Restaurant Week allows us to showcase the many unique dining experiences in Lake County from family-friendly establishments to steakhouses and sports bars," said Maureen Riedy, president of Visit Lake County, ahead of last year's event. "We encourage people to take advantage of the special offers and get out and try a new restaurant."
