13-year-old Creates Safety Shields: Deerfield Hero
Zach Danziger, a student at Shepard Middle School, made 30 safety shields for frontline workers at Highland Park Hospital.
DEERFIELD, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He made 50 Shields for Front line workers at Highland Park Hospital. With a 3D printer and other approved materials for these safety shields. It all came from him-I was so touched!
