2 Deerfield Runners Set To Compete In 2023 Boston Marathon

DEERFIELD, IL — Annually, the prestigious Boston Marathon is run on Patriots' Day and this year is no exception. On Monday, two Deerfield runners will compete in the 127th edition in Massachusetts.

The Deerfield runners who will be at the starting line are Paul Darnaby and Greg Davenport, both age 36.

The race returned to its April placement last year after being run in October 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year's race will feature nearly 30,000 athletes from more than 100 countries.
