3 Nabbed For Improper Transportation Of Cannabis: Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

WARRANT ARREST: AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC BATTERY

Alejandro J. Elvira, 26, of the 9200 block of Fairway Dr., Des Plaines, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested on Dec. 20 in the 300 block of Washington St., Waukegan. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was given a court date of Jan. 12.

THEFT OF SERVICES

Juan M. Cazares Maravilla, 35, of the 37900 block of Wilson Ave, Beach Park, is accused of theft of services, and was arrested on Dec. 20 at his residence. His bond was set at $1,500 and he is due in court on Feb. 25.

VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION

Andrew P. Middleton, 37, of the 41600 block of N East Road, Unincorporated Zion, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested on Dec. 21 at his residence. His bond was set at $10,000 and he is due in court on Jan. 6.

WARRANT ARREST: DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Julio A. Figueroa, 51, of the 16200 block of W Pope Blvd., Unincorporated Lincolnshire, is accused of having a warrant for disorderly conduct, and was arrested on Dec. 21 at his residence. His bond was set at $10,000 and he is due in court on Jan. 13.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Fierra L. Liberty, 34, of the 600 block of N Lotus Ave., Chicago is accused of driving while license revoked, aggravated speeding (75 mph in a 45 mph zone), and no insurance. Liberty was arrested on Dec. 21 at Rollins Road and Carillon Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $2,000 and Liberty is scheduled to appear in Branch Court.

WARRANT ARREST: AGGRAVATED DUI

Florencio Caballero-Santillan, 32, of the 200 block of E Court of Shorewood, Vernon Hills, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, and was arrested on Dec. 22 in the 200 block of W Water St., Waukegan. Bond was set at $25,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 4.

IMPROPER TRANSPORTATION OF CANNABIS

• Ezequiel Montoya, 20, of the 3000 block of Gilboa Ave., Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and improper transportation of cannabis. Montoya was arrested on Dec. 22 at Sheridan Road and Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park, and bond was set at $3,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 2.
• Saul Cuevas, 20, of the 2400 block of Lydia Ave., Zion, is accused of improper transportation of cannabis and open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested on Dec. 22 at Sheridan Road and Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and he is scheduled to appear in Branch Court.
• Lauren A. Simmons, 23, of the 0-100 block of SW 51st St., Lawton, OK, is accused of improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested on Dec. 22 at 29th St. and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and she is scheduled to appear in Branch Court.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Asjia A. Teagues, 26, of the 2400 block of W Dugdale Road, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of a weapon, and was arrested on Dec. 22 at 29th St. and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and she is scheduled to appear in Branch Court.

WARRANT ARREST: RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Efren Ortiz-Espina, 42, of the 600 block of S Jackson St., Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for resisting a peace officer and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested on Dec. 23 at Route 173 and Green Bay Road, Zion.
