Bannockburn Police Arrest Highland Park Man
The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Nicholas Kasemir, 20, of Highland Park was arrested Friday for possession of cannabis and speeding, according to Bannockburn Police reports.
Police clocked Kasemir driving 55 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Half Day Road stopping him near Waukegan Road. After the stop, police noticed an odor of cannabis coming from the vehicle. After a search police discovered a green vegetable matter which later tested positive for marijuana. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15 in Park City.
