16 Bloody Mary vendors showed their stuff on Sunday in Highwood, and about 5,000 attendees from all over were happy to try 'em all.
The City of Highwood helds its third annual on Sunday, and Highland Park Patch came out to help celebrate.
Patch columnist Ed Brill judged the Bloody Mary contest, sampling drinks from 16 vendors. Though most were local, some came from as far as Wadsworth, Ill. (Savanna House) and Rocky River, Ohio (Market Beer).
Gabe's Backstage Lounge came in first for the judge's contest while Toadstool won the People's Choice. The event attracted about 5,000 attendees from throughout the Chicagoland area.
