Car Stolen From Driveway Overnight: Riverwoods PD Blotter
Police said the theft of the vehicle over the weekend remains under investigation.
RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - Vadim Basin, 34, of the 1000 block of Osterman Avenue, Deerfield, is accused of speeding, following too closely, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:24 a.m. Aug. 3, near Deerfield Road and Hoffman Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 11.
- Brenda L. Balisteri-Venetos, 68, of the 2000 block of Clavey Road, Highland Park, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 7:49 p.m. Aug. 5, near Deerfield Road and Jasmine Lane. She was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 11.
- Jacob David Stavola, 24, of the 900 block of Indian Spring Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of speeding, open transportation of alcohol, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 2:11 a.m. Aug. 10, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 11.

THEFT
A resident in the 2600 block of Forest Glen Trail reported at 3:46 p.m. Aug. 9, someone had taken his car from the driveway at some point of the previous night. The theft of the vehicle is under investigation.
