Coronavirus: Awareness Kits Delivered To Deerfield Businesses
The Deerfield Bannockburn and Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce provided dozens of business kits to raise awareness about coronavirus orders.

DEERFIELD, IL — In response to an executive order requiring the use of face coverings in public areas within the village of Deerfield, the Deerfield Bannockburn and Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce have distributed business kits to raise community awareness about coronavirus-related regulations. Staff delivered over 75 business kits to essential Deerfield businesses when the face covering order was issued, according to the chamber's Facebook page.
The kits consist of signage, a frequently asked questions sheet and 10 paper masks. Businesses are asked to display the provided poster in their windows and entrances. A ground sign campaign also has been implemented in Deerfield's shopping districts, according to DBR Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Victoria Street.
"The supply of paper face coverings was to meet the immediate need for businesses to keep our community safe and we are encouraging businesses and our residents to obtain their own supply," Street said. "Face coverings can be a simple scarf, bandana or anything that covers both your mouth and nose."
