Coronavirus: Deerfield Launches Positivity Campaign
Deerfield Mayor Harriet Rosenthal announced the launching of the #DoItForDeerfield campaign to garner positive community stories.
DEERFIELD, IL — A new campaign called #DoItForDeerfield, which seeks to highlight positive stories in Deerfield in spite of the coronavirus pandemic, was launched this week, according to an e-newsletter from Mayor Harriet Rosenthal.
Photos, videos or messages of support can be emailed to DoItForDeerfield@deerfield.il.us or posted on social media with the hashtag #DoItForDeerfield. Messages will be posted on a special page on the village website starting Friday.
"Remember, social distancing does not mean social isolation," Rosenthal said in the newsletter. "Please continue to communicate with friends, family and neighbors. And please continue to stay at home and only leave for essentials."
