Coronavirus: Medical Staff Offered Free Rooms At Deerfield Hotel

Embassy Suites Deerfield is offering free rooms for frontline medical staff through a partnership between Hilton and American Express.

DEERFIELD, IL — Frontline medical team members will be offered free rooms at Embassy Suites Deerfield through a partnership between Hilton and American Express. These two companies are donating up to 1 million hotel room nights across the country for doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics and other medical staff. This offer will continue through the month of May, according to a news release from Hilton.

"During this crisis, we have seen so many examples of medical professionals working in the most challenging circumstances, sacrificing their own needs for the greater good," Hilton President and CEO Christopher J. Nassetta said in a news release. "We are honored to extend our Hilton hospitality to them during this difficult time."

Apart from the closure of Cadwell's Grille, hotel operations are continuing as normal, according to a Facebook post from the hotel. Additional cleaning and sanitation methods of have been implemented to protect guests' health.
