Cubs and ABC 7 Strike 5-Year TV Deal

For the first time in the 68-year TV broadcast history of the Chicago Cubs, baseball games will air on ABC 7 Chicago next season.

The Cubs have partnered with WLS-TV in a historic partnership for TV rights to Cubs games, the station and team announced on Friday.

Starting in April 2015, ABC 7 will air 25 games per year through 2019, including primetime, daytime and weekends.
