Deerfield Park District Announces Committee Openings
The park district is now accepting applications for the Deerfield Park District Recreation, Pool and Golf Citizen Advisory Committees.
We are currently accepting applications for the Deerfield Park District Recreation, Pool and Golf Citizen Advisory Committees.
Committee Purpose – The Committees serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners. Members meet alongside staff and a park board commissioner to study and review the operational components of the Sachs Recreation Center, Mitchell and Deerspring Pools or the Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center and make recommendations to the Park Board based on their findings and research. Committee members are appointed to 3-year terms and meet four times a year.

Applications are also available at the Sachs Recreation Center and Jewett Park Community Center registration desk. Applications are due by March 1, 2021.
