Deerfield Road is scheduled to reopen between Milwaukee Avenue and Saunders Road late today, according to an update on the Lake County Department of Transportation website.
A detour taking traffic south to Lake Cook Road began April 15, was scheduled to end April 19 but was delayed a week because of flooding and extreme weather conditions, according to the website.
The road was closed for culvert work east of Juneberry Road.
