DHS Prepares for School Opening
Deerfield High School opens Aug. 21 with book sales starting Aug. 13.
A number of events are planned for Deerfield High School students before classes August 21 including book purchases, freshman orientation and the annual Warrior Welcome for freshmen parents.
Freshmen orientation will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. August 16 where they will be able to buy their books. Seniors can buy books August 13, juniors August 14 and sophomores August 15.
Freshmen parents and guardians get a 13-hour jump on their children when they attend the Warrior Welcome at 7 p.m. August 15. They will be able to meet their student’s counselor, freshman advisory teacher and senior advisors.
