Dogs Left in Car that Reached 101 Degrees in Deerfield

The woman was charged with ill treatment of a dog.

A Zion woman is accused of leaving two dogs in a parked car, where the inside temperature reached 101 degrees on an 86-degree day in Deerfield, according to an article in TribLocal.

One window was open about four inches, the article says. The woman was charged with ill treatment of a dog, ordered to remove the dogs, take them into the shade and hydrate them.
