DUI, Leaving The Scene Of An Accident: Riverwoods Police Blotter
The Riverwoods Police Department made four arrests over the past week involving area residents and a variety of criminal offenses.
RIVERWOODS, IL – The Riverwoods Police Department recently arrested four area residents, three of whom have been charged with drinking under the influence of alcohol as well as other traffic offenses, the department said.
Residents are reminded that the filing of criminal charges does not equate to a guilty finding and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Angela B. Jordan, 26, Wheeling, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on Monday after being pulled over near Lake Cook Road and CCH Drive. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving without headlights. She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 18.

Ulziitogtokh Dandar, 53, Gurnee, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. on Sept. 17 after he was pulled over by police near Lake Cook Road and Discover Way. Dandar was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 18.
Jay M. Limpkin, 70, Northbrook, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. on Sept. 14 after police received a report that a 32-year-old man had been struck by a car on the corner of Riverwoods Road and Portwine Road. Limpkin was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to give aid and information and failure to reduce his speed to avoid an accident. He was taken to the Lake County Jail while he awaited a bond hearing.

Vitalii Luchkanin, 20, Schiller Park, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. on Sept. 9 after being pulled over by police near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and running a red light. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Oct. 11.
