DUI, Speeding, Open Container Of Alcohol: Riverwoods Police Blotter

Riverwoods Police made four arrests over the past week and charged local women with a variety of criminal offenses after traffic stops.

RIVERWOODS, IL — Riverwoods Police made a number of arrests over the past week and charged local residents with a variety of criminal offenses.

Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate with a guilty finding and that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Adilene Garcia, 23, Highwood, was arrested at 2:48 a.m. on May 27 after police stopped her vehicle and arrested the driver. Garcia was charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on June 22.

Nicolet Leonardo, 40, Palatine, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. on May 29 after police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road. Leonardo was arrested and charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on June 22.

Zaira Pintor, 32, Schaumburg, was arrested at 4:27 a.m. on May 29 after police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Road and Discover Way and arrested Pintor. She was improper lane usage, open transportation of alcohol, driving while her license was suspended, and driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on June 22.

Darlen R. Krikie, 26, Wheeling, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. on May 24 after police investigated a motor vehicle crash at Lake Cook Road and Saunders Road. Krikie was arrested and charged with disobeying a red light and driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on June 15.
