Christopher O. Allen-Edmonds, 36, of the 400 block of Cory Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested July 14 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 14.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Theoms T. Adams, 40, of the 200 block of Oakridge Court, Antioch, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, assault, and was arrested July 14 in the 39500 block of N. Bishop Court, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 19.
FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER
Nichael J. Negron, 22, no permanent address, is accused of failure to register as a sexual offender, and was arrested July 16 in the 0-100 block of S. MLK Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 13.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER
Lonnie Griffin, 50, of the 1400 block of Edgewood Avenue, Chicago Heights, had a warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer, and was arrested July 16 in the 26800 block of Route 120, Volo. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of July 23.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Edwin C. Jimenez, 25, of the 100 block of Arbor Court, Wheeling is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested July 17 in the 23200 block of N. Apple Hill Lane, unincorporated Lincolnshire. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and a court date of Aug. 6 was assigned.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON
Brittany M. Mahoney, 39, of the 3200 block of Buckley Road, North Chicago, is accused of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, child endangerment, and was arrested July 17 in the 3200 block of Buckley Road, North Chicago. She was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Aug. 6.
VIOLATING PROBATION
Cristian Amedo, 43, of the 2000 block of Stanley Court, Schaumburg, had a warrant for violating probation, and was arrested July 18 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of July 23.
RETAIL THEFT
Eric G. Hewitt, 40, of the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of retail theft, disorderly conduct, and was arrested July 20 in the 39100 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 20.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Juan M. Villarreal-Briceno, 42, of the 1200 block of W. Paul Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, no insurance, driving while license revoked, and was arrested July 20 at 33rd Street and Emmaus Avenue, Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 26.
