This classic musical based on a true story was written in 1951 by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II. An English widow, Anna, and her young son are summoned to assist the King of Siam.

Anna serves as a tutor to the King’s children and wives, according to the synopsis on the Deerfield Park District website. They get to know each other bridging the gap between eastern and western culture.
