DEERFIELD, IL — Nominations are currently being accepted for the annual Linda Gryziecki Scholarship. Offered by the Deerfield Park Foundation, it provides financial assistance to eligible students pursuing post-secondary education.

This scholarship honors the legacy of Gryziecki, who served the Deerfield Park District for 38 years, including a tenure as director. It is intended to support students as they continue their academic journey. Applications are due March 31.

The Linda Gryziecki Scholarship awards financial support to selected students for one academic year. Award amounts and the number of scholarships may vary from year to year. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a high school senior, recent graduate, or college student
  • Plan to attend a U.S. post-secondary institution

According to the Deerfield Park District, the scholarship application typically becomes available in late December or early January each year. Applicants must complete the online application form and submit all required materials by the stated deadline.
