Halloween 2025: Deerfield Recommends Trick-Or-Treating Hours

The candy-filled holiday is on a Friday this year, which won't happen again until 2031.

DEERFIELD, IL — Halloween is just two weeks away, and the Village of Deerfield has announced hours for trick or treating. From 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, kids will be knocking on local doors for candy.

"Make sure your little ghosts and goblins stay safe, and have a fun time collecting treats around the neighborhood," the Village of Deerfield said on its website. "Don't forget to check those costumes and grab your flashlights."

Before the holiday, check out the Halloween Hoopla Family Fun Fest, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Sachs Recreation Center, 455 Lake Cook Road. Kids will enjoy ghoulishly fun games, a Trick-or-Treat trail packed with goodies, balloon twisters, an interactive DJ spinning monster hits, and surprises around every corner.
