Highwood Gambling Forum Set Wednesday
State representative, Highwood mayor and others will participate in forum Wednesday.
With Highwood poised to pass legislation Nov. 19 allowing video gaming in any willing establishment with a liquor license, state Rep. Scott Drury (D-Highwood) will hold a forum on the subject at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Midwest Young Artists Studio.
Drury will host the forum with Highwood Mayor Charlie Pecaro and local business owners. Members of the Highwood City Council have been invited. The public will be able to ask questions.
