Letter to the Editor

Writer criticizes polls.

The misleading polls have me concerned. A lot of voters or "likely" voters believe everything they see without checking the facts.

The fact that polls are being taken by the candidates own campaign groups already put them at an advantage/disadvantage depending on who is being supporter. Polls should be taken from a non-bias standpoint and from a variety of people. Whether it be social class, gender, race, etc.

Also, the polls should be from either registered voters or likely voters and that same genre should be for both candidates' poll. Some might say that polls will always be somewhat bias but I believe if it is taken from a completely anonymous source it won't be.

Voters also don't want to vote for a losing candidate. With inaccurate polls that have a percent error of 4.6% how is one supposed to know which poll to believe and which candidate is actually winning? Hopefully with more accurate polls voters will not be mislead or confused.

Sincerely,
