Local Business Guide: What's Open And Closed In Deerfield

DEERFIELD, IL — The coronavirus pandemic has yielded unexpected and detrimental results to local economies in Illinois. Some businesses have had to cut staff, some have had to slash hours of operations and others have had to close their doors altogether due to Gov. J.B. Pritzker's stay-at-home order.

However, some local businesses are still offering delivery, pick-up, remote services and transactions at a distance to continue to serve Deerfield residents.

Earlier this month, we put a call out on Deerfield Patch to local businesses with a request to provide an update on their current status, offer details on how customers can continue to patronize them — and to let the community know how they can best help during these challenging times.

Some of the dozens of local businesses who responded so far:

Cafe De Oro, 2175 Deerfield Road, Riverwoods, is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for drive-thru and pick-up orders.

The Cherry Pit Café, 808 Waukegan Road, is open 7 a.m to 2 p.m. for pick-up orders in the alley behind the restaurant. Call ahead to order.

Brick Loot, 151 S. Pfingsten Road, is open for curbside pick-up via phone orders.
