Longtime Deerfield Resident Becker Dies
Jerry Becker was a dedicated employee at Levi Strauss for over 30 years, working in sales and marketing.
DEERFIELD, IL — Jerry Paul Becker, 73, of Deerfield, died Friday.
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Michele, nee Portney for 44 years; devoted father of Jeremy (Emily); cherished son of Shirley and the late Calvin; loving brother of Daniel (Mishela), Lewis (Bobbie) and the late Deborah; dear uncle of Clark and Eve.
Jerry was a dedicated employee at Levi Strauss for over 30 years, working in sales and marketing.

Graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to Deerfield Public Library (deerfieldlibrary.org/donate) or American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org/donate) would be greatly appreciated.
