Deerfield Merchants Await Final Push
Heading into the final shopping weekend before Christmas, Deerfield merchants are ready to help customers with their last minute needs.
Discounts are already available at places like Footloose. “We’ve started our markdowns early,” Footloose employee Julie Silberbach said. “There are a lot of shoes where you can get 30 percent off and a lot at 50 percent off.”

Library Puts Together Shopping List
While the Deerfield Public Library is usually not a holiday shopping destination, it has compiled a gift list. “The experts at the Deerfield Public Library have a cornucopia of gift suggestions that will relieve the stress and put a smile on the face of those on both the giving and receiving end,” Library spokesperson Judy Hoffman said.
