Multiple DUI Arrests Made In Village: Riverwoods PD Blotter

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Luis G. Rojas, 43, of the 1200 block of E. Algonquin Road, Schaumburg, is accused of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 2, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.
• Donald A. Hazen, 65, of the 5600 block of Barnwood Drive, Gurnee, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Nov. 4, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 4.
• Lawrence Robert Newman, 64, of the 800 block of Belmar Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of improper lane usage, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Oct. 25, near Deerfield Road and Jasmine Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.
• Lukas Boreika, 20, of the 900 block of West Courtland Street, Mundelein, is accused of making an improper turn, expired registration, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Oct. 5, near Milwaukee Avenue and Deerfield roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 6.
