Police Arrest Woman for Theft
The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
Renee Redmond, 54, of Evanston was arrested April 26 for theft, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police were called to Whole Foods by security personnel after observing Redmond walk out of the store with four items in her purse. She “admitted (to police) to stealing from whole foods.” She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3:30 p.m. June 4.

“Indiscernible graffiti” was sprayed on a half wall inside the skate bowl at Jewett Park May 1, according to Deerfield Police reports. After responding to a report, police also found a 12-ounce can of spray paint.

Miguel Romero-Alvarado, 25, of Wheeling was arrested April 28 for driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to stop for a red light, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police stopped Romero-Alvarado after observing him drive through a traffic control device at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Corporate Drive. Police learned he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3:30 p.m. June 4.
