'Ritz-Carlton For Dogs' Set To Open First IL Location In Deerfield

DEERFIELD, IL — Pampering pooches is something many pet owners strive to do on a daily basis, but the folks behind K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel take it to a whole other level. Soon, North Shore dogs will have a chance to experience the "Ritz-Carlton for Dogs" when the first Illinois location of the New Jersey-based company opens its doors in Deerfield.

The Deerfield location at 649 Lake Cook Road will open on June 21, with a grand opening event planned for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon cutting, exclusive site tours, prize giveaways, refreshments, and other festivities.

K9 Resorts Deerfield is owned by LPHI, the largest group of K9 Resorts franchisees, according to the company. The group has announced plans to open 48 locations nationwide, including up to 11 in Southern California, 13 in Florida, and 11 across Virginia and Washington, D.C. By 2029, there could be up to eight location in the greater Chicagoland area.
