Strangulation Arrest Made In Ingleside: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

Timothy A. Williams, 50, no permanent address, had a warrant for criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Aug. 4 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF A CRASH WITH GREAT BODILY HARM

Jesus Reyes, 45, of the 2100 block of Lorraine Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for leaving the scene of a crash with great bodily harm, and was arrested Aug. 4 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 12.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Seth A. Kasten, 20, of Janesville, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, driving while license suspended, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Aug. 4 at Main Street and Tall Trees Drive, unincorporated Barrington. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 24.
• Darnaisha A. Tucker, 33, of the 1200 block of Park Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 4 at Sheridan and Ganster roads, Beach Park. Tucker was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 27.
• Jon D. Rivera Benuel, 30, of the 2100 block of Lorraine Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 8 at Sheridan Road and E. Mawman Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 10.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO RESIDENCE

Joseph T. Carey, 43, of the 27600 block of N. Hickory Street, unincorporated Island Lake, is accused of criminal trespass to residence, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Aug. 5 in the 27500 block of N. Hickory Street, unincorporated Island Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 27.

FORGERY

Jeffrey R. Tarpen, 39, of the 25600 block of W. Arcade Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant for forgery, and was arrested Aug. 5 in the 25600 block of W. Arcade Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 3.

STRANGULATION

Christopher Vazquez, 33, of the 0-100 block of W. Clarendon Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, strangulation, and was arrested Aug. 5 in the 25100 block of W. Lake Shore Drive, Ingleside. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Aug. 12.

THEFT

• Debra A. Bystol, 59, of the 1800 block of Country Drive, Grayslake, had a warrant for theft, cheating at a gambling game, and was arrested Aug. 5 at Route 45 and Country Drive, Grayslake. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 22.
• Carlos J. Otero, 36, of the 2800 block of Salem Boulevard, Zion, had a warrant for theft, and was arrested Aug. 6 in the 39100 block of N. Lewis Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 28.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Jaquan L. Cutrer, 41, of the 2100 block of Wright Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Aug. 6 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Cutrer was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 21.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Frank DeDominicis, 61, of the 1400 block of Pauly Drive, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and was arrested Aug. 7 at Route 137 and Des Plaines River Road, unincorporated Libertyville. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 4.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A PEACE OFFICER

Jeffrey A. Huffman, 61, of Horicon, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated assault on a peace officer, retail theft, and was arrested Aug. 8 in the 16600 block of W. Russell Road, Wadsworth. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Aug. 27.

BATTERY

John C. Knapper, 48, of the 26600 block of N. Longwood Road, unincorporated Lake Forest, is accused of battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and was arrested Aug. 9 in the 26900 block of N. Elmwood Avenue, unincorporated Lake Forest. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 24.

OPERATING A WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Jerry Matthews, 48, of the 1100 block of Carvell Avenue, Highland Park, is accused of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 9 on Lake Marie. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Tony Ventura, 34, of the 2600 block of Colbert Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of residential burglary, violating an order of protection, and was arrested Aug. 10 in the 38300 block of New York Avenue, Beach Park. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Aug. 12.
