There is plenty to do in Deerfield this weekend and one of the Village’s most unique events takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Park Pool. Float on an inner tube and watch a movie. Or, just sit on the pool deck. Popcorn is free and the refreshment stand is open. The movie will start about 8 p.m.

Pooch Parade

Are you looking for a pet? You can help others who are searching by taking your dog for a walk at 9 a.m. Saturday at the annual Orphans of the Storm Pooch Parade in Jaycees Park.

Farmers’ Market

As usual the weekly Deerfield Farmers’ Market will take place from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday just east of the Deerfield downtown train station. Besides the fresh produce and other foods, there will be entertainment.

Outdoor Dining

If the weather is right, there is plenty of outdoor dining in the Village.
