Taylor Junction Breaks Ground in Downtown Deerfield

Community of luxury townhomes is coming to Chestnut Street and Deerfield Road.

DEERFIELD, IL - Construction on Taylor Junction, a community of nine luxury townhomes in downtown Deerfield, has begun.

The ribbon-cutting for the project at the corner of Chestnut Street and Deerfield Road was held Tuesday with representatives from Deerfield-based The Jacobs Companies and Mayor Harriet Rosenthal.

Taylor Junction, named for President and CEO Keith Jacobs’ daughter, Taylor, who represents the fourth generation of the Jacobs family and was present to help her dad celebrate the groundbreaking, is located across from the Metra station and Deerbrook Mall. The townhomes will each boast between 2,200 to 2,585 square feet of open floor plans, starting at $549,000.

According to Taylor Junction’s website, “a two or three-car garage, lovely amenity package and maintenance-free community make life a breeze.”
