Truck Hits Viaduct, Shuts Down Portion Of Deerfield Road: Police

DEERFIELD, IL — A truck hit a viaduct Wednesday morning, shutting down traffic along Deerfield Road for nearly an hour. According to police, the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. and the eastbound and westbound lanes are closed between Park Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Police were asking drivers to find alternate routes. In a 12:02 p.m. social media post, police said the road had reopened.
