Village Of Deerfield: 1st Day To File Nomination Papers For 2025 Election Nears

Positions up for election include mayor, three Village trustees, one unexpired term Village trustee, and two library trustees.

Starting August 20, the Village of Deerfield will have candidate nomination papers available in the Clerk’s Office for circulation for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election. Petition forms may be picked up during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road.

Positions up for election include Mayor (4-year term), three Village Trustees (4-year term), one unexpired term Village Trustee (2-year term) and two Library Trustees (6-year term).

First day petition forms may be picked up during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road.

November 12, 2024

First day to file nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

November 18, 2024

Last day to file nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

January 7, 2025

Last day to file objections to a candidate’s nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please note, Village Hall is closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. each business day
